Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
As Ferrari entered a new millennium, a clean-sheet design was deemed necessary to establish a basis for a future generation of Ferrari road cars. The outcome was the all-aluminum Ferrari 360 Modena developed in conjunction with Alcoa, dressed in aerodynamic Pininfarina-styled bodywork and bristling with technological advancements. Debuting at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the 360 was 220 pounds lighter and 40 percent stronger in structural rigidity than the F355 it replaced. Visible under the glass rear decklid was a heavily revised 3.6-liter “Tipo F131” V8 producing 400 horsepower, paired with either an F1 paddle-shift transmission or a six-speed gated manual transmission. The 360 set a precedent for Ferrari models to come, introducing new levels of comfort and usability combined with the level of performance expected from the esteemed Prancing Horse.
Proudly offered in Spider configuration, this Ferrari 360 was delivered new to George Foreman via Ferrari of Houston on 9 August 2002 and displays a mere 1,596 miles at the time of listing. Its quintessential Ferrari color scheme of Rosso Corsa over Beige and Nero leather upholstery is complemented by numerous optional extras including Daytona-style seats, front and rear Challenge grilles, red brake calipers, and Scuderia Ferrari front fender shields. Principally, it is equipped with the coveted six-speed manual transmission, offering the glorious “click-clack” sound of the gate colliding with the gearstick when performing a perfectly timed shift. Presenting in excellent overall condition, this low-mileage example is an excellent opportunity for a Ferrari collector looking to acquire an investment-grade 360 Spider.
This car is part of the George Foreman Collection, which comprises over 50 cars from the 1930s through today, with a focus on American classics and late-model sports cars.

Bidders are encouraged to review the Additional Documents section of each lot for any recent mechanical service rendered to help return certain vehicles to running condition. Additionally, bidders should carefully review the photos of each lot in the collection, which may highlight the oxidation of metal components certain vehicles sustained as the result of a garage fire caused by a golf cart battery in March 2019. Although none of the vehicles sustained fire damage from the fire itself, the negative cosmetic effects of the corrosive soot vary greatly from vehicle to vehicle and can be observed in the photo galleries of each lot.
