Description
A true automotive icon, the Mini, designed by Alec Issigonis, revolutionized how cars were thought of. The Mini's official launch at the 1959 London Motor Show was a momentous occasion, as it showcased a car that was unlike anything else on the market. The transverse engine layout allowed for a compact yet spacious car that became the benchmark for car packaging. The Mini's popularity was immediate, and it quickly became a beloved car for many drivers, just as at home in the city as on the rally stage. As time progressed, the cars evolved with more features, making them more comfortable to drive while maintaining their incredible charm. This 1974 Mini 1000 (Mk III) is a wonderful example of the car, having been lovingly restored and upgraded for increased performance, making it perfect for anyone wanting to appreciate the rich history and lasting influence of the original Mini.
