1965 Ford Econoline Pickup Engine Idle
Description
Introduced on 21 September 1960, for the following model year, the Ford Econoline would serve as the replacement for the F-Series Panel Delivery marketed with both passenger and commercial configurations. Available in three different body styles, customers could choose between a cargo van, a passenger van, or a forward-control pickup when the model was first introduced. Serving a vast number of different uses, the Econoline name remained in use until 2014 and has remained one of the most popular models due to its robust design selling over 8 million units since 1961. As one of the rarest and most sought-after of all Econoline variants, the forward control Pickup offered seating for two passengers who were joined by a selection of engines underneath the cabin providing extremely convenient servicing and excellent forward visibility.
Based upon a 1965 Econoline Pickup, this example has been refurbished and upgraded to make this one of the coolest looking, best-driving, and unique resto-mods available. Starting with an all-new custom frame, nearly every aspect of this vehicle was upgraded. Independent front suspension, power rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, an all-new engine, and a newly appointed interior are just some of the many enhancements hidden within this Ford.

Ownership History
This vehicle was purchased by the consignor about six years ago before they would eventually restore this Ford to its current condition around two and half years ago. Some of the work would include a custom chassis, body and paint, and suspension. Upon completion, the owner has used this example sparingly while storing it inside a garage underneath a custom California car cover.
Hagerty Marketplace has confirmed a clean title status, the owner maintains the title in hand and will send it to the Hagerty Marketplace team to be reassigned to the new owner after the auction is complete.
