Description

Building on the success of the first-generation C/K pickup, Chevrolet launched a completely restyled version in 1967, with a period advertisement proclaiming, "We think it's about time trucks stopped looking so 'trucky.'" The exterior featured modern squared-off edges complemented by a low-angled hood and large rectangular grill openings on 1967 and 1968 model-year trucks. Inside, the C10 was also noticeably less “trucky” than its predecessor, with wall-to-wall carpeting, a center console, and bucket seats as well as plush new trim levels, which introduced a level of luxury unheard of in trucks of the era. Both Stepside and Fleetside availability carried over from 1966, while coil springs at the rear provided a more car-like ride. Today, this generation of Chevrolet pickups are some of the most beloved collector trucks extant for their handsome styling, robust build quality, and enduring usability.
