Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Motor Trend said, “There’s simply nothing else out there with RX-7’s combination of price, performance, and styling,” and yet Mazda managed to raise the bar yet again for 1984. Power levels saw an increase with a 34-percent gain in horsepower along with 24 percent more torque. The rotary engine offered smooth running with limited moving parts, and thanks to its small packaging, it was placed low and far back in the chassis to create a front, mid-engine car with only minimal reduction to the passenger compartment. Thanks to this improved weight distribution, and well-engineered suspension, Mazda enhanced the already fantastic handling characteristics of a car that has a devout following today. This includes examples like the one on offer that has the added benefit of being equipped with the desirable five-speed manual transmission.
