1977 Mercury Grand Marquis Brougham Colony Park Wagon Ride-Along
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The fifth generation (1969–1978) of the venerated line of Colony Park wagons were the final true full-size Mercury before General Motors B-body “full-size” cars took hold in the late 1970s. With a wood-paneled tradition stretching all the way back to 1957, the Colony Park trim level on this Marquis Brougham wagon is a sight to behold. With optional seating for seven, the Colony Park featured a massive 121 inch wheelbase and a large 400 cu-in “Cleveland” V8 (the last year for the 400 cu-in variant) while providing all of the expected luxury expected from Mercury’s flagship wagon. All of the luxury and amenities proved popular with customers in 1976 with just over 20,000 sold to those looking to haul their family and important items in wood-paneled style.
