General Motors introduced the front-wheel drive W-body in 1987, controversially replacing the rear-wheel drive G-platform. However, it proved a wise move, as the W-body would remain in production for a remarkable 19 years, selling in the millions across the Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac marques. Of the various models available on the W-body platform, only one received a convertible body style: the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The convertible variant utilized an unusual top mechanism with fixed B-pillars supporting a prominent roll hoop, but was otherwise similar to the two-door coupe and powered by the same 3.1-liter V6. This White over dark red 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible was purchased new by George Foreman and displays a mere 9,912 miles at the time of listing.
