1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Ride Along 2
Description
Chevrolet’s second-generation Corvette, produced from 1963 to ’67, marked a significant evolution for the iconic sports car. Known as the "Sting Ray," the C2 introduced a sleek, aerodynamic design with hidden headlights and advanced engineering, including independent rear suspension and powerful engine options like the 327 and 427 cubic-inch V8s.
The 1967 model, the final iteration of the C2 generation, featured several refinements and improvements over its predecessors, making it one of the most sought-after Corvettes in history. Among the Sting Ray’s engine options was the high-output L79 327 V8, which produced 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. A big-block 427 was also available, with the L88 version delivering an astounding 430 horsepower.
Aesthetically, the ’67 Corvette was subtly refined, with cleaner lines and the removal of previous year's hood scoops and side vents. Both coupe and convertible versions were available, and the interior offered vinyl and leather options.
This 1967 Corvette Convertible, wearing Rally Red paint and powered by a 327 high-output V8, comes with an optional hard top. The Sting Ray has had only two owners since 1970.
