Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Boxster debuted in 1997, marking Porsche's first new model in nearly 15 years. It was an instant hit, not just for its nimble handling and 550 Spyder-inspired looks but also for its exceptional build quality. The Boxster copied the engine arrangement of the 550, choosing a mid-engine layout, which provided a low center of gravity and nearly perfect weight distribution. This design gave the Boxster its unique handling characteristics, which were widely praised for their uncanny precision and drew anyone who sat in the driver's seat for a drive. The five-speed manual and MacPherson strut suspension made for an enjoyable driving experience. This first-generation, Stuttgart-built "986" Boxster is an ideal introduction for anyone interested in Porsche or sports cars. This particular Boxster has a stylish, well-preserved Seal Grey Metallic on Graphite Grey combination and clean CARFAX, making it an excellent candidate.
