Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Improving upon one of the most significant automobiles ever produced by the Ford Motor Company, the 1936 Ford V-8 was unveiled with updated styling and a robust V8 powerplant. Offering customers a longer front hood, distinctive radiator grille, and newly redesigned fenders and wheels provided an imposing road presence which Ford was proud to boast was not just modern in appearance, but modern in performance as the “Ford stands out because it gives you the finest type of eight-cylinder engine, the Ford V-8.” Offered with a variety of body styles and trim levels, the De Luxe variant was one of the premium options available with comfortable seating, stylish instrument panels, and various luxury amenities for the time. Also one of the first American automakers to introduce a mass-produced V8, the 1934 Ford with its attractive body lines soon became a canvas for many customization and hot-rodding projects. As a result, it has become much more rare to find examples such as this restored to their original specification, valued for their classic appeal and embodiment of a significant era in automotive history.
