1971 MG MGB Start-Up and Ride-Along
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The MG MGB represents the consummate British sports car from its era. It was an affordable car that came in several different flavors, from an open roadster to a three-door 2+2 coupe powered by inline-four and six-cylinder engines as well as a V8. For the 1968 model year, sufficient changes were introduced to define a Mark II model including synchromesh on all four gears with revised ratios, a new rear axle, and an alternator in place of the dynamo with a change to a negative earth system. Incremental improvements continued until the last roadster rolled off the production line in 1980. Today these cars remain an ideal choice for anyone looking to enjoy a classic British roadster on a winding country road or on a local show field.
