Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Silver Seraph, designed by Graham Hull, represents a truly modern design for Rolls-Royce borrowing design cues from its 1960s Silver Cloud predecessor. It was the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III and naturally all Silver Seraphs were hand-built at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, England. Of course, while modernized, the Silver Seraph was still a Rolls-Royce and featured Connolly leather upholstery with dashboard trim and folding picnic trays for rear passengers faced with glossy burl walnut veneer.
The 2000 model year brought improvements over the first two with various small beneficial changes. Most notably a redesign of the floor structure and rear seat position considerably increased rear leg-room and head-room. An electronically controlled pop-up navigation screen in the dashboard, parking sensors, and an exterior rear-view mirror redesign also featured. Finally, the updated model is easily identified by clear turn signal lenses at the front and rear. The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph enjoyed a five-year production run beginning in 1998 with approximately 1,570 produced in that time.
This car is part of the George Foreman Collection, which comprises over 50 cars from the 1930s through today, with a focus on American classics and late-model sports cars.

Additionally, bidders should carefully review the photos of each lot in the collection, which may highlight the oxidation of metal components certain vehicles sustained as the result of a garage fire caused by a golf cart battery in March 2019.
