2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The new water-cooled 911 was a shock to the system when introduced to the automotive world in 1997. Yet, today, it is obvious that the change was necessary, with the progression delivering all manner of fantastic and collectible Porsche sports cars over the past 25 years. On the leading edge of that revolution were cars like this 2000 911 Carrera Cabriolet. The Cabriolet was designed in concert with the Coupe, eliminating much of the potential harshness from the typical open-topped variant. What had shocked many just a few years earlier had turned into a sales success, with Porsche enthusiasts warming to the idea of a water-cooled 911 and ordering well optioned examples like this one.
