Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Volkswagen Jetta has been an endeared nameplate in the automotive world, with a history dating back to its debut in the late 1970s. Born as a sedan variant of the Volkswagen Golf, the Jetta quickly carved its niche by offering a more spacious and practical option while retaining the Golf's dynamic performance. Over the years, the Jetta has undergone various transformations, evolving in design, technology, and driving experience. The fifth generation (A5) launched at the 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show, reinforcing the United States as the most important market for the sedan. This generation saw large advancements in torsional rigidity, with laser-welded body panels contributing to improvements in handling. In 2006, Volkswagen continued its tradition of delivering a compelling driving experience with the Jetta TDI. Powered by a turbocharged 1.9-liter diesel engine producing 106 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque and aided by a five-speed manual transmission, this Jetta can reach an estimated mpg of up to 46 mpg and an impressive theoretical range of above 600 miles. Finished in Graphite Blue over an Art Grey V-Tex interior, with an array of interesting internal features and quality of life improving modifications. With 127,605 miles on the odometer, and with overall few imperfections it is a testament to the enduring performance and reliability synonymous with Volkswagen engineering.
