29K-Miles 1982 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The legendary Cadillac Eldorado received a complete overhaul for the 1979 model year resulting in a downsized model due to shifting consumer tastes. The resulting car was 20 inches shorter and over 1,000 pounds lighter than the previous year. In 1982, Cadillac introduced the “HT 4100” High Technology V8 engine in an effort to create a smaller displacement engine offering increased fuel economy while also increasing engine performance. While Cadillac was known for their well-appointed cars, the Biarritz package was ideal for anyone seeking something special. Reminiscent of previous Eldorado generations with its long hood and short trunk lid, the Biarritz package’s striking feature was its brushed stainless-steel roof panel over the front of the passenger compartment. This generation of Eldorado are as beloved by enthusiasts today as when new, especially low-mileage, well-kept examples such as this Eldorado Biarritz. Perhaps the original Eldorado sales brochure summed it up best by saying, “Best of all… it’s a Cadillac.”
