1941 Ford De Luxe Sedan Coupe Project
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Nineteen forty-one was the final year the Ford Motor Company would sell a brand new vehicle to the public before the outbreak of World War II. After the conflict ended in 1946, the production of the Ford De Luxe Sedan Coupe would resume, finally ending in 1948. The De Luxe Sedan Coupe body style was available for less than six months for this single year and featured a modernized exterior with a wider body that fully covered the running boards. The De Luxe had many qualities above the standard Ford such as additional chrome trim and a higher variety in choices in colors and upholstery. This 1941 Ford De Luxe Sedan Coupe comes optioned with the V8, finished in Mayfair Maroon on Charcoal cloth seats. Offered in project condition, the sale includes an assortment of parts and is an intriguing candidate for a restoration.
This car is part of the George Foreman Collection, which comprises over 50 cars from the 1930s through today, with a focus on American classics and late-model sports cars.
