1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
After eighteen years and more than 15,000,000 units of their iconic Model T, Ford would unveil the new Model A in 1927. Offered with a selection of body styles that would suit almost every taste and purpose from a full-size Fordor Sedan to a sleek open-top two-door Roadster, Ford’s Model A would even include a taxicab, truck, and other configurations for commercial use. In addition to a plethora of body styles, additional trim options such as the Deluxe line would offer customers an attractive selection of standard appointments. After receiving the model’s first update in 1930, power would come from an “L-head” inline four-cylinder engine producing around 40 horsepower which was not only incredibly robust but also easy to operate and work on thanks to the standard set of driver controls featured on the Model A. This meant the Model A is configured with a conventional clutch, brake, throttle, and gearshift which provides enthusiasts with a delightful and relatable driving experience. As an incredibly popular option for those interested in a classic, easy-to-use touring vehicle, the Ford Model A enjoys a devoted following and is eligible for a wide variety of worldwide events.
