Description
The Corniche IV, first presented at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 1992, featured several upgrades over its predecessor. Adaptive suspension, an improved top mechanism, an upgraded air conditioning system, and a new 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission in place of the previous three-speed GM400 were highlights of the new Corniche. Although it resembled its predecessor, the Corniche III, the Corniche IV had a glass rear window and included driver and passenger airbags for enhanced safety. The car's design combined traditional and modern elements aiding in its successful run. The Corniche IV was a symbol of luxury and sophistication, appealing to those who valued comfort, style, and class. Produced for only a short period, the Corniche IV remains a classic example of the timeless elegance and quality that Rolls-Royce is renowned for.
