1976 Triumph TR6 Cold Start
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
After series production began in 1953, the Triumph TR series would, like many long-lived models, continually evolve to meet the needs of a changing world until the end of production in 1981. During this run, the much-loved TR6, produced from 1968 until 1976, would refine the inline six-cylinder in the series. Earlier TRs were styled by Michelotti, with the TR6 featuring a restyle by Karmann of Germany, resulting in a dramatic departure from the previous generations. The handling characteristics were improved with the use of aluminum semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension and rack and pinion steering derived from the TR250/TR5. Today these cars are beloved by their owners for smooth power delivery and handling characteristics, perfect for a blast through the countryside.

Bargewell to North Carolina and back again to Alabama before being sold in 2019 to just its second owner based in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
