Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Falcon was Ford’s 1965 sub-compact offering during one of their most significant eras of automotive production. In 1965 the Ford Motor Company expanded into several markets with aggressive marketing decisions. The turn to sportiness, ofter marketed as “Ford Total Performance,” brought on by the Mustang and Ford GT programs electrified the entire lineup. As part of this initiative the Falcon was given a new sporty exterior with a more squared off design to suit the aesthetic of Ford’s new brand-image. This short-lived generation became to be loved in the coming years for its dependability and build quality. The Falcon’s 2.8-liter inline-six earned the moniker of “bulletproof” and “indestructible” for its long lasting reliable performance and paired to a three-speed manual it offered sporty spirited driving at a bargain.
This 1965 Ford Falcon is finished in a period-correct Poppy Red exterior complimented nicely by white stripes. The exterior color combination is carried inside with matching Red and White vinyl leather seats and matching red seat belts. As far as versatile 1960s sedans go, the Falcon is a fantastic combination of reliability, dashing looks, and practicality, an iconic American classic from the golden age of Ford Total Performance.
