Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Through decades of technological innovation and precision engineering, Cadillac has cemented itself as the foremost manufacturer of quality vehicles in the United States. As such, the firm’s vehicles have had a long-standing history of transporting celebrities and heads of state in unrivaled comfort, acting as a symbol of wealth and prestige to all who encounter them. In fact, a Cadillac has served in the ultimate role of high-end transportation – the United States presidential state car – since as early as 1919 when President Woodrow Wilson rode in a Cadillac Series 53 during a World War I victory parade. As Cadillac entered the new millennium, the long-running DeVille nameplate was succeeded by the subtly restyled DTS, using the brand's new nomenclature established by the CTS and STS. Like its predecessor, the DTS was made available as a “coachbuilder” chassis for conversion into hearses or limousines, with a heavily modified and armored DTS limousine debuting in the second inauguration of U.S. President George W. Bush. Today, a Cadillac limousine remains the choice of dignitaries and celebrities alike who wish to travel in spectacular luxury.
This Cadillac DTS Professional Limousine was reportedly delivered new to George Foreman as a gift, with the accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report showing that the car was registered in Texas to its first owner in January 2009. Equipped with an intercom system, a power-operated privacy partition, a wet bar, and rear mood lighting, this low-milage limousine presents an excellent opportunity to acquire one of America’s great status symbols from one of America’s all-time greats.
This car is part of the George Foreman Collection, which comprises over 50 cars from the 1930s through today, with a focus on American classics and late-model sports cars.

Please note that the vehicles in The George Foreman Collection have been in long-term static storage and will benefit from additional mechanical attention prior to being driven. Bidders are encouraged to review the Additional Documents section of each lot for any recent mechanical service rendered to help return certain vehicles to running condition. Additionally, bidders should carefully review the photos of each lot in the collection, which may highlight the oxidation of metal components certain vehicles sustained as the result of a garage fire caused by a golf cart battery in March 2019. Although none of the vehicles sustained fire damage from the fire itself, the negative cosmetic effects of the corrosive soot vary greatly from vehicle to vehicle and can be observed in the photo galleries of each lot. All lots are sold as is, where is, and bidders are responsible for any desired diligence before placing a bid.
