2021 Cadillac CT4-V
Description
The 2020 line of Cadillac V Series vehicles ushered in a new era of performance-oriented sedans – evolving away from the "Art & Science" design language developed in the late 1990s. Taking over for the previous entry-level performance variant, the ATS-V, was the new CT4-V, aimed at small German sport sedans such as the Audi S3, BMW M235i Gran Coupe, and Mercedes-AMG A35. Like its rivals, the CT4-V utilized a turbocharged inline-four cylinder, pumping out a healthy 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to its light aluminum block and innovative "volute" turbocharger, the Cadillac delivered impressive figures including 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and a claimed top speed of 164 miles per hour. Reviewers also praised the new CTS-4's lavish interior and excellent handling, with Car and Driver writing, “the CT4-V delivers driving pleasure and handling that transverse-engined competitors can't match.”
