2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 75th Anniversary
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
After virtually creating the four-wheel drive segment in 1941 with the wartime GP model, Jeep vehicles spent the following 75 years fueling the dreams of adventurers around the globe. The JK series Jeeps introduced in 2007 advanced those capabilities, with both the two-door Wrangler and four-door Wrangler Unlimited models to choose from. Car and Driver wrote of the 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 75th Anniversary, “The Wrangler wins you over because there's really nothing else like it…. You could park this Wrangler next to an original GP and everyone would know the two share a bloodline.” For 2016 the Sahara version added the Power Convenience Group, 18 inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning, satellite radio and much more. Power is from Jeep’s excellent Pentastar 3.6-liter V6.
This 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara sports the 75th Anniversary package with special Bronze painted trim and other upgrades. The Jeep was involved in a front-end collision in July 2018 that CARFAX lists as “moderate” but was declared a “total loss” by the insurance company. It was subsequently repaired with “rebuilt” titles issued first in Oklahoma, then Texas. It has since travelled over 42,000 and recently passed the Texas safety inspection in November 2023.
