Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
“Camaro exists not to look back, but forward,” Chevrolet marketers boldly wrote. The fifth-generation Camaro followed in the footsteps of the 2005 Ford Mustang and the 2008 Dodge Challenger in adopting many retro styling cues. Clad in bulging, muscular body panels, the long-awaited 2010 Camaro boasted a sophisticated modern package with fully independent suspension, with Car and Driver calling it “the freshest and most modern package of the three.” In SS trim, the Camaro’s 6.2-liter LS3-and-manual combo, or L99 V8 mated to an automatic transmission, was rated at 400 horsepower or more, far exceeding the 2010 Mustang GT’s 315 horses.
This well-preserved 2012 Camaro, showing just 18,369 miles from new, features the 2SS performance package, including the enhanced FE4 suspension with retuned dampers and stabilizer bars introduced that year. With its six-speed manual transmission comes the LS3 engine with 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque with Launch Control, the most outside the ZL1 super Camaro that year. It’s also fully loaded with the RS Appearance Package including HID headlights with halo rings and 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels. Finished in Imperial Blue Metallic with Arctic White stripes, the car exudes that classic Camaro spirit while never looking back.
