2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet Walk-around Video
Description
Much like BMW’s “M” division and AMG at Mercedes-Benz, the motorcars produced by Audi Sport represent not only the pinnacle of the brand’s performance engineering but also pay homage to its motorsport pedigree. In the case of Audi, its “S” cars can trace their direct lineage to the legendary Audi Sport Quattro, which dominated the international rallying circuit in the 1980s and, as such, it’s no surprise that all of today’s Audi “S” model excels in that four-decade-old rich tradition of world-class “quattro” all-wheel drive and high-performance turbocharged engines – a delightful combination for any performance-minded driver!
The Audi S5 is available in coupe, cabriolet, and five-door fastback sedan versions, this iteration having been derived from the fourth-generation (B8) Audi S4 saloon and estate models. Like all Audi "S" cars, the S5 is exclusively equipped with Audi's quattro four-wheel drive system, utilizing a Torsen-based center differential system. While most S5 versions are manufactured at Audi's plant in Ingolstadt, Germany, the cabriolets are produced at Audi's factory in Neckarsulm, Germany. Visually distinguished by its more aggressive bodywork, typical of Audi S and RS models, the S5 features side skirts, larger air inlets on the front bumper, and dual exhausts with twin tips per side. The S5 Cabriolet variant is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine, delivering 333 horsepower, coupled with a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission. The Cabriolets have the added appeal of blending the wonderfully dynamic driving experience with the pleasure of top-down motoring.
This particular S5 features an exceptionally rare and desirable color combination and is loaded with most available performance and convenience options, including: Audi Drive Select with sport differential and multiple steering options (dynamic, automatic, comfort, and individual modes); heated and ventilated front sport seats with “Air Scarf” neck heater; Audi MMI with navigation system, CD/DVD, memory card reader, Jukebox, and Bluetooth for hands-free calls; and a backup camera and parking sensors. A well-regarded Audi specialist has also performed its 75,000 mile service at the owner’s cost of over $1,500, which included a DSG transmission service, replaced serpentine belt, oil and filter changes, and additional repairs for vacuum pump and valve cover gaskets to address oil leaks.

The CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet shows that it was initially sold in New Jersey in June 2010, with subsequent registrations in Pennsylvania before the current owner purchased the car in April 2021 in Georgia. The current owner has added less than 8,000 miles in three years of meticulous ownership, and its present cosmetic condition is consistent with the care the car has received and garage storage.
