Description

The 2007 Mustang GT was nearly identical to the previous year, although buyers could opt for an appearance package that included a non-functional hood scoop and rolled chrome exhaust tips. Two optional packages were also available, Deluxe and Premium, and both included a 4.6-liter all-aluminum V8 engine, TR3650 five-speed manual transmission, and a multitude of other amenities. The GT Deluxe package included cloth seats and standard radio, while the GT Premium package upgraded to leather seats and a Shaker 500 audio system.

The 4.6-liter, overhead cam V8 had three-valve heads and was good for 300 horsepower. Performance was also increased because the all-aluminum block weighed about 75 pounds less than the cast-iron design. The 2007 Ford GT Premium could launch from zero to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and cover a quarter mile in 13.7 seconds at 103 mph.

This Mustang GT Premium Convertible has been enjoyed by four owners in 17 years — in North and South Carolina — and has received consistent maintenance during that time. It was also upgraded by a previous owner, who added a Roush Performance Package and lowered the suspension to improve corner handling. It is offered with 62,594 miles on the clock, an average of about 3,682 miles per year.
