2005 Ford Mustang GT Roush Stage 1 Walkaround
Description
Have the need for speed? Jack Roush certainly does. He began as an engine development engineer at Ford Motor Company in 1964. Throughout the 1970s he was a champion Pro Stock drag racer before turning to sports cars as a team owner in 1984, then NASCAR in ’88, always racing Fords. He also founded Roush Performance Engineering in 1995 building some of the hottest street Mustangs around.
The third generation of the Roush Mustangs debuted in 2005 and was based on the new S197 fifth-generation Mustang. New Mustang GTs were shipped to Roush, where the famed ROUSHCharger was added to the stock 4.6L engine. The Roush body kit added a unique front valance, three-piece rear spoiler, nine-bar front grille, and a hood scoop. Inside is an Auto Meter carbon fiber gauge cluster. The Roush Mustangs are filled with unique details and features to go with the blazing performance.
The 2005 Mustang GT is a very complete performance automobile, but this two-owner, low-mile, Roush Stage 1 with a Kenne Bell supercharger and other tasteful upgrades should especially satisfy that need for speed.
