Single-Owner 20k-Mile 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10
Description
When the speed freaks at Dodge decided to unleash a Viper-powered V-10 super truck in 2004-2006, their goal was to create the fastest, most powerful production pickup ever—and they succeeded with the 154-mph Ram SRT10.
To complete this impressive feat, the Viper’s 8.3-liter V10 and six-speed manual transmission was shoehorned into an aggressively restyled Regular Cab Ram. That body wore a chin spoiler and massive hood scoop, restyled rocker panels, and a sleek rear end rocking a huge spoiler. Underneath, the lowered suspension featured custom-tuned springs and shocks. And enormous 22-inch chrome wheels were fitted, somehow covering the SRT-10’s also-huge brake rotors. Inside, occupants were coddled with suede-trim leather buckets with side bolsters, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, silver-face gauges, aluminum pedals, and a Hurst shift handle. And after Motor Trend test drivers occupied those seats, they reported: “The SRT-10 is the most powerful production pickup available...it can roar to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (with) the quarter mile gobbled up in 13.3 seconds.”
This low-mile, single-owner Ram SRT-10 is one of only 1,689 Regular Cabs built in 2005, and one of only 453 painted Flame Red that year.
