2004 BMW Z4 3.0i
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Z4 roadster was launched in 2002 and was a significant improvement over its highly successful predecessor, the Z3. The debut showed the Z4 was more than just a spiritual successor as it was a thoroughly revised take on what a two-seat BMW convertible could be. The Z4 boasts a longer wheelbase, a wider and longer body, and advanced engineering to minimize any associated weight increase. The two-seat sport roadster concept was expressed in a new and unique design with modern engineering and comprehensive features. The Z4's chassis engineering was completely new, featuring multi-link rear suspension. Power is from 2.5-liter or optional 3.0-liter inline-six DOHC 24-valve engines, with a choice of four transmission types.
Produced at BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina factory, the Z4 utilized the most advanced production equipment and processes and served all international markets for the Z4. “The Z4 addresses the Z3’s faults and rectifies them in spectacular fashion,” wrote Automobile magazine. “The 3.0-liter in-line six is just about perfect. There is decent thrust from as low as 2000 rpm, with a noticeable increase in urgency at around 3500 rpm.” This highly optioned 2004 Z4 3.0i is finished in Sterling Gray Metallic and features the desirable 3.0-liter engine and Sports Suspension.
