2003 Bentley Arnage T
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Under new ownership from Volkswagen AG, Bentley’s flagship sports sedan, the Arnage, was ushered into the 21st century with a “Series 2” lineup for 2002. Atop the model hierarchy was the new high-performance Arnage T – the most powerful roadgoing Bentley at the time of its launch – producing an astonishing 450 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V8. While it technically retained the Cosworth-BMW unit launched with the model in 1998, Bentley claimed that over 50 percent of the engine components in the Series 2 Arnage were completely new, including the Bosch Motronic ME7.1 engine management replacing the previous Zytek system, and two Garrett T3 turbochargers replacing the single T4. Other improvements under the skin included a 10 percent stiffer body shell and modifications to the spring and electro-hydraulic damper rates to ensure a supple and refined ride. Today, the Arnage T continues to offer twin-turbocharged V8 power and effortless luxury.
