The Lincoln Town Car was the last of the large, rear-wheel-drive American luxury sedans. Offered in Executive, Signature, and Cartier trim, the third-generation models were over 215 inches long and provided a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride for up to six passengers, along with 20.6 cubic feet of trunk space.
The 2002 Signature model offered a few more specialty items than the base Executive, including an Alpine audio system, steering wheel-mounted stereo and climate controls, and aluminum wheels.
“In a hurry?” the 2002 Lincoln brochure asked. “... Time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the taste of true American luxury.”

Ownership History
According to the accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report, this 2002 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series model was originally purchased on 20 March 2002 from Sebring Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Sebring, Florida. CARFAX reported an “accident with another motor vehicle” on 18 September 2008 causing front-end damage that disabled the vehicle; the airbags did not deploy. After the original owner passed away, her daughter kept the car and drove it for approximately five years. According to CARFAX, the Lincoln has received consistent maintenance since new.
