Description

The Ferrari 550 Maranello, introduced in 1996, marked a triumphant return to the front-engine V12, rear-transaxle layout not seen in a Ferrari flagship since the beloved 1970s 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Named for its 5.5-liter displacement and birthplace, the 550 Maranello combined timeless GT proportions with cutting-edge performance.

The 550 Maranello is draped in Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork housing a potent 48-valve V12 engine producing 485 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 199 mph and a zero to 60 mph sprint in just 4.2 seconds. Featuring a six-speed manual transaxle with the iconic metal gate, the 550 Maranello offered an engaging and rare analog driving. Approximately 3,083 examples were produced between 1997 and 2001.

This Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in the classic livery of Rosso Corsa over Beige and Nero leather. Options include red brake calipers, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, and 250 GT-style diamond-stitched rear shelf upholstery. Tasteful aftermarket upgrades under previous ownership include 19-inch Novitec double-spoke alloy wheels, a Fuchs exhaust system, and an Alpine stereo. With just 16,930 miles showing, this 550 Maranello represents the pinnacle of Ferrari's front-engine grand touring philosophy to deliver a driving experience that remains as captivating today as it was when new.
