Description
Beginning life as a simple but timeless postwar Sedan, this 1951 Chevrolet Styleline De Luxe 4-Door Sedan was born as a member of General Motors' newly overhauled lineup featuring a more modern full-length body and distinctive pontoon fenders before being totally transformed in recent years. Still retaining the same benefits from the original, practical and affordable Sedan body which served many American families with spacious seating and updated amenities for the time, this example has taped into the plentiful aftermarket community, and been upgraded with a modern chassis, engine, suspension, brakes, and much more all sourced from well-known brands by an experienced collector who built this example with an open checkbook. Commonly referred to as resto-modding, this trend of preserving the wonderful period-correct styling while adding modern amenities where desired allows enthusiasts to enjoy their vehicles with added reliability and most importantly upgraded performance.
