Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Introducing the all-new Chevrolet Tahoe in 1995, Chevrolet made a strategic move by discontinuing its third-generation K5 Blazer, reserving the nameplate exclusively for the mid-size "GMT325" Blazer. This new Tahoe was based on the GMC Yukon, which debuted in 1991. Both brands expanded their lineup with longer four-door versions, with production of the four-door Yukon and Tahoe kicking off on 20 January 1995 at the Janesville Assembly Plant. Offering a vehicle for nearly everyone with two and four-wheel drive options available in both the two and four-door models, the Tahoe garnered widespread acclaim, ultimately earning the prestigious title of Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year for 1996.
