1997 Acura NSX-T
Description
The 1991 Acura NSX stormed America as a mid-engine, two-seat Japanese sports car on the bleeding edge of technology. Acura’s engineers combined an incredibly advanced naturally aspirated engine, a lightweight aluminum body, a sophisticated chassis, and a driver-focused interior to create a nimble, high-revving supercar that sliced through corners.
In 1995, the NSX-T debuted with a removable targa top and a reinforced frame. And as production continued so did the refinement. In 1997, the all-aluminum, VTEC-enhanced V6 was bumped to 3.2 liters, and a precise six-speed manual replaced the five-speed. It was well received—along with clocking a 4.8-second run to 60 mph and a mid 13-second quarter-mile, Car and Driver exclaimed, “The engine’s song escalates in fury as the revs rise, growing more feverish as the VTEC system switches from its torque cams to its horsepower cams, again as the intake rams shorten for the final sprint to the 8000-rpm redline.” And thanks to its proven track record for reliability, this supercar allows you to experience that performance stress free!
This eye-catching 1997 Acura NSX-T wears yellow paint, uplevel aftermarket rims, and a rare exhaust system, and has only seen 65,117 miles since new.
