1995 Chevrolet Corvette Ride Along
Description
When the C4 rolled out in 1984, it represented a clean break from Zora Arkus-Duntov's C3, with a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern (but still evolutionary) styling. It was packed with then-new technology, like Bosch anti-lock braking, traction control, climate control, and analog/digital instruments. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forebears, the C4's rear bumpers and panels used a sheet molding compound. And for the first time since 1957, the Corvette used single headlights instead of dual units, but they were still retractable.
By 1994, the LT1 V8 under the hood provided the driver with both robust power and torque as well as proven durability. Other features include leather seats, air conditioning, targa-style removable roof panel, and a quiet cabin.
This two-owner 1995 Corvette Coupe is finished in Dark Purple Metallic paint — one of only 1,049 in that color — over a black dash and Light Beige leather upholstery. It is mostly original with no major upgrades since new.
