Description
Hagerty Marketplace is honored to offer another selection of vehicles from The SugarCreek Collection. This private collection in southwestern Ohio is supported by its own in-house restoration and maintenance shop, with a full-time staff of craftsmen. The garage is a true spectrum of car enthusiast dreams, ranging from unfinished restorations to the most recent sale of the SEMA-exhibited 1,000 HP 1962 Dodge Power Wagon, supporting the Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation. Thirty select cars from the collection are being offered just in time for spring. Whether awaiting restoration, preserved showroom stock, restored to like-new, or tastefully modified, these cars and trucks are truly SugarCreek quality.

First released in 1985 as a military-only High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, the civilian version of the Humvee didn't roll off the production line until 1992. The four-passenger, go-anywhere Hummer H1 — built by AM General, a division of American Motors — was designed to ford rivers up to 2.5 feet deep, bust through snow drifts, conquer the softest of sand dunes, and climb the highest mountains.
The H1 retained its military aesthetic with a wide and boxy frame, high ground clearance, round headlights, a sloped hood, and utilitarian yet spacious cabin. Under the hood was a powerful 6.5-liter Turbo Detroit Diesel V8 engine. Early models were mated to a GM TH400/3L80 three-speed automatic transmission, while later H1s received a GM 4L80-E four-speed automatic. The Hummer's drive line is protected via a network of tubes running the length of the truck, preventing obstacles from harming any of its critical components. The H1 was available in various body styles, including the four-door hardtop pickup with spacious cargo bed, a wagon, and a convertible.
This 1995 AM General Hummer H1 Four-Door Hardtop Pickup features four-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive system, including portal axles and independent suspension, and its Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) allows the driver to adjust tire pressure from inside the cabin to adapt to different terrains.
