1992 Buick Riviera
Description
Originally unveiled in 1963, the Buick Riviera personal luxury car was so named to capture the allure of the French Riviera. Posh when it arrived, the Riviera remained so for more than three decades.
The seventh-generation 1992 Riviera was loaded with standards like power steering, brakes, mirrors, windows, locks, and seats, as well as Buick Dynaride suspension, a new theft-deterrent system called Pass-Key, and a less-reflective solar control glass. Upgrades included power sunroof, leather seats, and CD player. Buick emphasized the ’92 Riviera’s quality, design, engineering, and seamless flow of power, which came from the car's 170 horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine (with Tuned Port Injection) and its fuel-efficient automatic transmission with overdrive.
This two-owner 1992 Riviera has been driven only 56,302 miles in the last 32 years (verified by the attached clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report), an average of 1,759 miles per year. With an original MSRP of $25,415 — about $57,000 today — it has been meticulously maintained since new.
