Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Jeep CJ-7, introduced in 1976, is part of the renowned CJ (Civilian Jeep) series that includes the CJ-5 and can be traced back to the original WWII Willys MB. The CJ-7 brought significant advancements, including a 10-inch longer wheelbase, enhanced suspension, and improved interior comfort, all without affecting off-road performance.
During its production run, The CJ-7’s standard powerplant was a solid inline-six engine, though various years also offered four- and eight-cylinder options. The mill was mated to a three- or four-speed manual transmission (though a five-speed was offered in later years), and an optional automatic with full-time Quadra-Trac four-wheel drive was offered for the first time. As production continued, 1977 models received front disc brakes, and 1978 models got a fully boxed frame.
This 1985 CJ-7 has been restored and now features new paint with Renegade graphics, a rebuilt inline-six engine, a four-speed manual trans, and four-wheel-drive system.
