1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 Start Up
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Chevrolet Blazer was introduced by General Motors in 1969 as part of the C/K truck series, designed to compete with other off-road vehicles like the Ford Bronco and the Jeep CJ. Built on a shortened K5 pickup truck platform, the Blazer offered a unique combination of off-road capability and on-road comfort, and it vaulted Chevy into the full-size sport-utility market.
The 1985 model featured a robust 4x4 system, making it a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts and those needing a reliable vehicle for challenging terrains. It was equipped with a range of engine options, including the 5.0-liter V8, which provided ample power for both daily driving and off-road adventures. One of the distinctive features of the Blazer was its removable hardtop, which allowed for an open-air driving experience. This feature, combined with its spacious interior, made it a versatile vehicle for both utility and leisure. The ’85 model also benefited from improvements in suspension and drivetrain components, enhancing its durability and performance.
This restored 1985 Blazer 4x4 has received multiple upgrades, most notably an LS 5.3-liter V8, a new steering gearbox, and Flowmaster exhaust.
