Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The C3 Corvette Stingray was introduced in 1968 with a sleek, curved design that resembled the shape of a Coca-Cola bottle. In the best corvette tradition, it had a variety of powerful V8 engines to choose from and came in two body styles: Convertible and the Coupe, which featured removable T-top roof panels.
The third-generation Corvette also featured a completely redesigned interior, with an extensive list of options available, which helped the C3 to become one of General Motors' best-selling vehicles. Exterior changes were subtle until 1973, when the chrome front bumper was replaced with a body-colored urethane bumper cover “to resist dents and prevent rust,” as Chevrolet advertising explained.
Many consider the C3 Corvette an American icon and one of the most accessible and reliable sports cars in the country.
