1971 Pontiac GTO
Description
The new-for-1968 Pontiac A-body line marked a significant departure from the first-generation design with a three-inch shorter wheelbase and almost six-inch shorter overall length. The 1969 GTO's semi-fastback styling was enhanced by new horizontally arranged dual headlights, dual hood scoops on either side of a prominent hood bulge, and a unique body-color Endura front bumper. In 1969, the introduction of "The Judge" performance package brought even more flair with vibrant colors, bold decals, and a distinctive rear spoiler, all underpinned by the powerful Ram Air engines. The 1970 model year saw a minor facelift including a revision of the front bumper with exposed round headlights and narrower grille openings, as well as a range of potent V8 engines under the hood.
This 1971 tribute car bears all the upgrades featured on original “The Judge” cars, and with the use of modern aesthetic touches it revamps the 1969 concept to the 21st century.
