1970 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Cold Start

1970 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Driving
Description
The new-for-1968 Pontiac A-body line marked a significant departure from the first-generation design with a three-inch shorter wheelbase and almost six-inch shorter overall length. The 1968 GTO’s svelte semi-fastback styling was complemented by new horizontally arranged dual headlights, dual hood scoops on either side of a prominent hood bulge, and a unique body-color Endura front bumper. 1970 saw a minor facelift including a revision of the front bumper with exposed round headlights and narrower grille openings, as well as several big-bore V8 choices under the hood. With its one-year-only styling, the 1970 GTO continues to be highly sought after by collectors for its robust Pontiac build quality, impressive performance, and allure as one of the best GTO designs of all time.
