1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Start-Up & Walkaround
Description
Introduced for the 1968 model year, the third-generation Corvette, or C3, became an American icon with its shapely new exterior heavily inspired by Larry Shinoda's Mako Shark II concept. This generation featured a curvaceous design marked by voluptuous fender flares, swept doors with flush-mount handles, and vacuum-operated pop-up headlights. Available in Coupe and Convertible models, the C3 boasted a completely redesigned interior and a lengthy options list, setting new sales records for General Motors. Utilizing many well-proven chassis components from its predecessor, it offered independent suspension and a slate of powerful V8 engines. Renowned for its distinctive style and performance, the C3 is favored by many as one of the most accessible and dependable iterations of America's most famous sports car.
