1969 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Pickup
Description
Nineteen sixty-nine ushered in the third year of General Motors' famous "Action Line" pickup trucks. This year saw the end of GMC exclusive engines, as Chevrolet powertrains took their place across the entire line-up. The trucks were offered with two distinct bed styles in varying lengths with the Wideside featuring full width cargo space while the Fenderside box was narrower and sported handy side steps on each side. Today, collectors favor the hardworking second generation of C/K trucks as they offer optional creature comforts typically found in GM's cars of the era, such as AM/FM radios, carpeting, automatic transmissions, and a range of V8 engine options.
