Description
Although Chevrolet’s big news for 1967 was the sporty Camaro, the Chevy II Nova Super Sport two-door hardtop remained a lightweight, sneaky fast muscle car that performed on the street and (in modified form) the drag strip. The new ’67 SS featured a new black grille with SS emblem, bright wheel moldings, Super Sport wheel covers, Super Sport rear fender script, and a checkered rear trim panel with emblem and Nova SS lettering. The interior was all-vinyl with front Strato bucket seats.
According to research, of the 106,000+ Chevy II Novas built for 1967, less than 10 percent were SS coupes. And since so many Novas were modified for drag racing, there are fewer survivors available to those who prefer an unmodified example. That realization proved to be too strong for the consigner, who decided to sell this one rather than move forward with his original plan to make multiple performance upgrades.

Ownership History
The owner of this 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS (that wears a windshield sticker suggesting it came from Texas) purchased it in December 2023. He planned to install an LS3 engine and make other upgrades, but after seeing the car in person he changed his mind. "My car buddies kept telling me it would be a shame to make all the changes that I wanted to make, so I decided to sell it to a person who appreciates the original Nova SS."
