Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
There is only one thing better than driving an original Shelby Cobra 427: driving a more affordable Cobra 427 replica with a two-inch longer wheelbase, so you don’t helicopter off into the weeds every time you hit the gas. And Backdraft Racing built that car.
The Backdraft Racing Cobra Roush Edition is a modern tribute to the classic 1965 Shelby Cobra. It features a powerful Roush 427 V8, five-speed manual transmission, independent rear suspension, four-wheel discs, and big, knock-off-style wheels. That Roush V8 makes 552 horsepower and is shoehorned into a car weighing under 2,700 pounds. That makes for less than five pounds to pull for each horsepower. And that is ridiculous.
This Cobra Roush Edition roadster boasts a sleek blue exterior with white stripes, complemented by a luxurious black leather interior replete with vintage-looking gauges. And because this is easily an 11-second car on street tires, pay particular attention to the racing harnesses—because they are needed.
