Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
In a country steeped in tradition, Morgan takes their heritage to the extreme. They still build their automobiles in much the same way Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan did when he founded Morgan Motor Company in Malvern Link, England, in 1910. This 1962 Morgan Plus Four stands as a captivating symbol of Morgan’s craftsmanship while offering a driving experience that is both spirited and nostalgic. Its sleek and compact silhouette is accentuated by sweeping fenders and a distinctive radiator grille, evoking a sense of elegance and sophistication. Under the bonnet, the Plus Four Four houses a 1,991 cc Triumph TR3 engine that delivers a balance of power and responsiveness. The minimalist yet refined interior features classic leather upholstery, simple gauges, and a wooden steering wheel, inviting the driver and passenger to connect with the essence of driving.
The Heritage Certificate from Morgan Motor Company for this motorcar displays the engine and chassis numbers as from the factory. Refinished in Crimson Red (a 1962 Morgan color) this Plus Four is not merely an automobile; it's a rolling testament to the rich heritage of British motoring, inviting those fortunate enthusiasts to relish in the joy of driving a true vintage masterpiece.

Ownership History
The Heritage Certificate from Morgan Motor Company shows this Plus 4 left the factory on August 25th, 1961, and was originally Westminster Green with a green interior, one of just 159 built in model year 1962. While right-hand drive, it is a USA spec car fitted from the factory with a Derrington exhaust system. It is believed to have been sold new through Windsor Motorcycles, Ontario, Canada. The second owner gave the Morgan a complete restoration in 2008. The next owner resprayed the Morgan in factory Crimson Red in 2012, while the original TR3 engine was rebuilt. The interior was reupholstered in black leather to contrast the new paint, but the original wood dash was retained which adds a nice patina. This 1962 Morgan Plus 4 has been located in Florida since 2015.
