1958 Cadillac Series Sixty-Two Hardtop Coupe
Description
For the 1958 model year, Cadillac introduced several notable updates to its Series 62 lineup, showcasing a blend of refinement and new design elements. The most striking change was the redesigned grille, featuring multiple round "cleats" at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical members, along with wider grille inserts and lower-positioned bumper guards. Another significant addition was the adoption of dual headlamps, complemented by small chrome fins on the front fenders. The tailfins, while less pronounced, received revised trim attachments, with the word "Cadillac" appearing in block letters on base models. The lineup expanded to include an extended deck Series 62 sedan and a special-order Series 62 Eldorado Seville, showcasing Cadillac's diverse range of body styles.
