1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Two-Door Sedan
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Is there anything more mid-century classic than a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Two-Door Sedan? The Jet Age was here, the Space Age was near, and the longer, lower Bel Air reflected both. The quarter panels were inspired by the tail section of an F-86 fighter jet, while the distinctive headlight bezels were designed to emulate jet engine intakes. Even the engine was new, now a 283 cubic-inch V8.
As for this beautifully restored Bel Air, there’s even more to like. The car was completely restored prior to when the current owner purchased it in 2019. Among the upgrades were fresh red metallic paint, new leather bucket seats with matching leather upholstery in the rear, B&M shifter automatic shifter, a tachometer mounted on the steering column, and additional center-mounted gauges to monitor oil pressure, water temperature, and battery voltage, as well as new Crager chrome wheels and BFGoodrich tires. It all adds up to classic looks with modern performance.
